Jars

jar block

These are blocks that can store up to 64 marshmallow items,

you can then break the jar and take it with you (the items will be stored in the jar item).

Replace the carpet with any color you want!

Want a place to sit while roasting marshmallows, then this is the perfect block.

They might not be comfy but they definitely do their job, they also come in every wood variant.

Marshmallows

Marshmallows

This is one of the main items in the mod, each "roasted" phase provides a different heath buff.

You can only craft the "raw marshmallow", the rest are obtained via the "roasting" feature.

Each one can also be used in the smore and "on a stick" item recipes!

Marshmallow on a Stick

This is how you "roast" marshmallows. To do so, hold

"place block" keybind over a campfire block, while holding any of the

marshmallows on a stick. You can also use "crouch + place block" Keybinds to

take the marshmallow of the stick!

Can use any marshmallow item.

Smores

This is what marshmallows are used for. You can make one for each stage of marshmallow roastedness.

They also give special effects depending on what one you eat!

Roasting

The core feature of Smore'd: roasting marshmallows over a campfire!

A campfire is defined by the "roasting_spot" tag in the data folder. Meaning you can add more spots via a datapack!

The time a "phase" takes can also be modified in the config (this is per-world not per-client)


Campsites

This is a new structure added by the mod, it can be used as a resting spot

or a way to find; marshmallow jar, cracker, marshmallow, stick. There are 2 types; overworld and nether.

spawns in any "minecraft:forest" biome

This allows you to modify each "roasting" phase (time is in minecraft ticks)


Item Textures

Item Textures

This allows you to change how the items look. By default the mod

uses 2D (in the inventory) and 3D (in the hand). These packs let you

choose if you want JUST 2D or JUST 3D!

Q: What does this add / do?

- This takes inspiration from Outerwild's Marshmallow mechanics by adding the ability to roast them and much more...


Q: Will this mod be ported to Forge or NeoForge?

- It will not be ported to forge. I just don't have the time to maintain multiple mod versions. You can look here for a detailed answer.

However Neoforge does have an Official port found on either of the modpages!


Q: How do I get access to betas?

- You can access betas via my Ko-fi page.


Q: Can you add... / How do you use...?

- You can suggest stuff on the Codeberg issues page or my discord. I will try to answer any questions on both sites!


Q: What compatability does the mod have?

- It has compatability with the Create Mod (for recipes), It also has compat with the Create: Aeronautics Mod (for physics entity interactivity).


Q: How do you get the creative marshmallow?

- Creative mode! (it doesnt have any advantage, just a cool item)
